Mohamed est comédien, metteur en scène, scénographe et animateur de stages de théâtre pour jeunes. Il a créé la Troupe de Théâtre El Monastir en 2003 avec son propre texte Safar Al Ahlam. Depuis, il a mis en scène et a joué dans plusieurs pièces de théâtre produit par El Monastir : Merriouma, Le Projet, La Rivière en Crue, Ghailoum Wa Maher et le fameux Bacha et Le Prof. En 2007 il interprète le rôle principale dans Hamma Le Cordonner d’Azzedine MIHOUBI. Il a eu une formation de Nadine VAROUTSIKOS, directrice de la scène nationale du Creusot en France, ainsi qu’une formation du travail du corps avec Hamid BELMAHI de la compagnie Hors Série de Bordeaux. Mohamed a présenté son travail dans plus que 25 villes en Algérie et dans d’autre pays (Bahrain, Arabie Saudite, Qatar, France). Il a également joué dans le feuilleton d’ENTV Moftaraq Al Torok ainsi que le téléfilm produit dans le cadre « 2007 Alger Capital de la Culture du Monde Arabe », Le Peintre. Mohamed a joué le rôle principale dans le court métrage El Hofra, réalisé par Mustapha Adnani. Son one-man show Le Projet a gagné le prix de la meilleure interprétation masculine dans le festival ACTHEA 2008 à Albi, France. Il a animé des stages de théâtre à Misserghin, Algérie et à Albi, France. Il est parmi les plus jeunes artistes du théâtre qui activent en Algérie.
Mohamed is an actor, director, scene designer and teaching
artist for young actors. He created the Theatre Troupe El Monastir in 2003 with
his own text Safar Al Ahlam (The Voyage
of Dreams). Since then he has performed and directed a diverse group of plays
for El Monastir ranging from melodrama to solo comedic performance: Merriouma,
Le Projet, La Rivère en Crue (The Flood), Ghailoum
Wa Mahar, and the well known children’s
show Bacha and the Professor. In
2007 he interpreted the lead in Hamma the Shoemaker, written by Azzedine Mihoubi. Mohamed trained with
Nadine Varoutsikos, director of the National Theatre of Creusot in France and
Hamid Belmahi of the company Hors Série based in Bordeaux. Mohamed has
performed in more than 25 cities in Algeria and in other countries (Bahrain,
Saudi Arabia, Qatar and France). He appeared in the Algerian television programMoftaraq Al Torok. He was also in
the made for TV film The Painter
that was created under the auspicies of “2007 Algiers Capital of Culture in the
Arab World.” He played the lead in the short film El Hofra directed by Mustapha Adnani. His one-man show Le Projet won the award for best actor in the 2008 ACTHEA
theatre festival in Albi, France. Mohamed has taught theatre workshops for
youth in Misserghin, Algeria and in Albi, France. He is among the youngest
theatre artists currently working as a full time artist in Algeria.
